Grange Chine & Marsh Chine

Description

These two chines merge to form the largest chine feature on the Island. Grange Chine starts at the edge of Brighstone and runs under the Military Road. Marsh Chine starts beside the Military Road slightly to the east and flows into Grange Chine close to the sea. Most of the sides of the Chines are inaccessible and heavily vegetated with scrub.

Parking

Limited parking on lay-by outside Grange Farm and cycle parking next to the entrance to Grange Farm.

Footpaths

Access over the chine from the coastal path.

Beach Access

Good access to the beach through Grange Farm on public footpath.
