Come on the pull! – Join our award winning Himalayan Balsam Team

The 2017 season of Himalayan Balsam control is already underway. Our volunteers are out on Wroxall Stream and the Eastern Yar at least twice a week between May and August.

Our forthcoming sessions are:

Thursday 18th
Meet at Bobberstone Farm, Lessland Lane, Sandford, PO38 3AT or Grid ref. SZ 5510982545 – 9.30am

Tuesday 23rd
Meet on cycleway at Old Station House, Main Road, Alverstone, Sandown, PO36 0EZ – 9.30 am

Thursday 25th
Meet on cycleway at Old Station House, Main Road, Alverstone, Sandown, PO36 0EZ – 9.30 am

Saturday 27th
Meet on cycleway at Old Station House, Main Road, Alverstone, Sandown, PO36 0EZ 10.00am

Tuesday 30th
Meet in layby on Sandford Road, between Godshill and Whiteley Bank crossroads – 9.30am

What do you need to bring?

We usually finish around 3.30 so bring some lunch if you are able to stay until then
A bottle of water
We will provide tea/coffee/biscuits
Stout footwear, long sleeves and long trousers recommended!
