
River Club is a campaign to control, and where possible eradicate invasive non-native plant species that are growing along the banks and / or within the Isle of Wight watercourses. Among the various actions is an opportunity for volunteers to become involved in a Himalayan Balsam pulling campaign.
Catchment Sensitive Farming provide landowners with advice on how to protect water resources, address diffuse and point source pollution and enhance wetland habitats.
Meanders and Reflections is in fact a suite of projects aimed at improving access to the Eastern Yar in both the physical sense – new trails, improved paths, revitalised signage and in increasing understanding of the river through interpretation and events.
Wroxall Stream 2020. A series of small projects working with landowners and designed to improve the water quality along the stream. This has included wetland creation.
Down to the Coast wetlands projects. The Down to the Coast Programme includes a number of projects that restore parts of the Eastern Yar.
