Pond Care

There’s stacks of information around on how to look after your pond. We particularly like the following leaflet put together by our super friends the Footprint Trust. It gives year round advice on what you should be doing. Click here to download.

For more detailed information, including pond creation and troubleshooting, there is a whole host of advice available from Freshwater Habitats Trust. You can access their website by clicking here.

If you are going to create a pond, please use native plants. Invasive non-native plants cause so much trouble if they get into the countryside.
